The 46-year-old was charged by Bathurst police after officers recently executed a search warrant on his property.
Officers allegedly found firearms on the property that prompted the charges against the man.
Bathurst police said the man has been ordered to face court on Monday, May 29.
Break but no enter
BATHURST police are investigating an attempted break-in at a Kelso business.
Police said unknown offenders tried to gain entry to the premises on Littlebourne Street by forcing a ground floor rear door some time between 4.45pm on Monday and 7.40am the next day.
It appears the offenders were unsuccessful, though, as an alarm system installed at the premises was not activated.
Pump stolen from ute tray
BATHURST police have been kept busy responding to reports of thefts and attempted break-ins.
In one incident, a pump was stolen a utility parked on Eric Sargeant Drive at Gormans Hill overnight on Monday. Offenders attempted to break into a business in the area around the same time.
In a separate incident, offenders ransacked a Russell Street business overnight on Monday.
No property was taken from the office but some tools were stolen from a utility.
Breach of his ADVO
A 41-YEAR-OLD Bathurst man arrested for breaching the conditions of an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order.
Police said the order had been made by the Local Court just a few days prior to the incident involving the breach.
Cannabis cultivation
A 45-YEAR-OLD Blayney man arrested and charged with cultivation of cannabis.
Police found the plants growing in the yard of a Blayney address about about 4.10pm on Tuesday.
The man will appear in Blayney Local Court at a later date.
