Most of the couple’s four children, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren were among the guests at the celebration.
Their daughter Christine Christie said the celebration was wonderful: “It was a surprise, they had no idea. Mum was in tears.
“We had the cutting of the cake and a DVD played with lots of old photos of them at family events.”
