Member for Bathurst Paul Toole said: “This is great news for the club as this funding will enable the installation of eco-trend sheltered park settings at the tennis centre.”
“Tennis is a popular sport in Bathurst and the enhancement to the clubs facilities, particularly shade and seating, will provide a great area for participants and spectators to enjoy the game.”
Mr Toole said sport was a huge part of our way of life and the NSW Government recognises how important it is to communities, for both social and health reasons.
“The main aim of this program is to increase regular and on-going participation opportunities in sport and active recreation in NSW,” he said.
“The NSW Government is committed to delivering the best infrastructure to the people of NSW and I look forward to seeing the benefits of this upgrade and the eight others funded across the Bathurst electorate.”
