Western Advocate photographer Phil Blatch said it was a beautiful time of year to take photos, and he shared this image (below) of Bathurst’s 200 Living Legend trees on Bradwardine Road.
The Advocate is creating a gallery of spectacular autumn photos and we would love to see yours.
All photos will appear in an online gallery, some will feature on social media – and the best of the best will be printed in a spread in the Western Advocate.
If you are yet to head outdoors to take your autumn photos, Mr Blatch has some words of advice.
“Photograph as early in the morning as you can, or in late afternoon, but morning is best,” he said.
“Also use back lighting and a longer lens if possible.”
Mr Blatch said there are many spectacular locations to take photos.
