CHILDREN have the opportunity to decorate their own skateboard decks at Bathurst PCYC on Friday from 11am.

Bobbies Clothing will donate decks to the PCYC and, with the help of tutor Rob Stevens of Signarama Central West, they will get to place their own designs.

The workshop is expected to be very popular, as it was booked out in Orange.

Parents need to book places for their children at the workshop by phoning Bobbies Clothing on 6332 5174.

All materials are provided.

The decks created during the workshop will go on display at Bobbies in Bathurst for two weeks after the event and family members are invited to come see them.

“Bobbies Clothing is excited to be giving back to the youth of the Central West by providing them with a fun, creative, free event these school holidays to encourage them to express themselves through art,” Bobbies owner Mel Gregory said.
