CareWest has merged with six like-minded organisations to form LiveBetter Community Services, which now spans much of regional NSW and central Queensland.

”With a range of services to assist the elderly or those living with a disability, LiveBetter will match its individually-tailored help to the diverse needs of the Bathurst community,” a spokesperson said.

The organisation will hold a family fun day on Saturday to launch LiveBetter at the former CareWest office at 225 Howick Street from 10am to 1pm.

There will be a free barbecue, jumping castle and kids’ activities for families, as well as the chance to tour the facilities and learn more about the National Disability Insurance Scheme and My Aged Care.

RSVPs for the Bathurst family fun day can be sent to clare.plunkett@livebetter.org.au.
