Unsolved Sydney murders: Police split investigation into double killings

Ms White was at home by herself and her 11-week old baby when a stranger burst into her Coogee home, tried to sexually assault her and stabbed her to death. Her husband, Paul White,  is still pushing the search for Lynette's killer.
Detectives revisited the crime scene this month and found blood from the crime (40 years ago) under the carpet. They think this may include blood of the offender and help them find him.
