A SUNSET cocktail party was held on Friday night with more than $7000 raised for Cancer Council NSW.

Held at BoxGrove function centre, organisers say the party attracted a great crowd and the event was well supported by local business owners who donated items for the silent auction.
“The evening raised $7426 through ticket sales, sponsorships, games and auction item sales,” BoxGrove’s Benjamin Fry said.
“MC’s Ben Stevens and Brent Osborne encouraged patrons to dig deep, with the silent auction items yielding almost half of the grossed amount.”
Event creator Mel Hodges thanked all who attended and donated for their support, and said 25 businesses either contributed or donated an item for the fundraiser.
