Matthew Ryan Reid, 32, of Greville Place, Kelso appeared by video link before Bathurst magistrate Michael Allen charged with driving while disqualified.
The court heard that on April 2 Reid drove a car in Kable Close.
At the time, Reid was disqualified from driving until November 2050.
Police facts tendered to the court told how the accused had an appalling traffic history. He had never had any form of licence allowing him to drive in any state or territory.
He was disqualified from obtaining a driver’s licence from November 18, 2013 until November 17, 2050 and was declared an habitual offender by the court.
The court also heard how on December 19, 2016 Reid attended Bathurst local Court where he was sentenced to a term of imprisonment for 16 months, suspended upon entering a Section 12 Bond.
Police facts tendered to the court told how at about 3.30pm on April 2, 2017, the accused drove a white Holden Captiva west along Bannerman Crescent in Kelso. Police identified the accused having dealt with him on a number of occasions for the same offence.
Police stopped the vehicle as it turned into Kable Close. Reid was arrested and taken to Bathurst police station where he was charged.
In sentencing Mr Allen revoked the section 12 Bond imposed on December 19 and placed Reid on an Intensive Corrections Order for 16 months to date from May 1, 2017.
Mr Allen also disqualified Reid from driving another two years.
