Manager Geoff Bottom presented BCFN chairperson Annette Meyers with a cheque for $2500 on Tuesday.
“It will go into supporting these free community events to promote the importance of children,” she said.
“We couldn’t do what we do without this kind of support.”
One of the activities that will be supported by community support is the Bathurst Family Fun Day.
The event is held during National Families Week and is a day to celebrate families with fun activities and entertainment.
It will be held on Saturday in Bicentennial Park from 11am to 2pm.
