More than 4700 premises in parts of Bathurst, Kelso, Robin Hill, Mitchell and Trinity Heights were switched onto the National Broadband Network (nbn) on Friday.

Telstra Northern NSW area manager Michael Marom said it was an “exciting” day for Bathurst.
Come the end June, it is expected another 5000 premises will be switched onto nbn, followed by another 5000 by the end of August.
