Titled the Pioneers of Bathurst, the tour will look at the history around the early Catholic Church in the city according to tour guide David Bullock.
“It’s about the early Catholic Church and the people who contributed to Bathurst, the businesses that they started and where the priests came from,” he said.
“Just show up near the Dean Street entrance to the cemetery.”
The tour is free and is the last one during the Bathurst’s Autumn Colours Program.
Previously, the tour was held in March and April.
Mr Bullock will concentrate his tour around the Catholic chapel, at the cemetery, and the graves around the chapel.
He will also talk about the people that have moved to Bathurst and where buried in the Catholic section of the cemetery.
Mr Bullock previously held at tour earlier this month, which explored the Bathurst Railway Station and its history and the buildings that surround the station.
The tour will begin at 2pm and will run until 4pm.
Cost is free, but bookings are essential.
Bookings can be done at the Bathurst Visitor Information Visitor Centre website, www.visitbathurst.com.au, or by calling 6332 1444.
