While winter isn’t officially here until Thursday, Bathurst was treated to a chilly and fresh Monday.

The temperature in the city’s mercury was lucky to hit the double digits mark.
But with winter almost here, one big question will be floating around town – are you a winter person or a summer person.
Cold weather always gives Parade a chance to talk about his love for the colder months.
Parade is still frustrate the year he missed out on the snow in Bathurst in 2015, when he decided to go home a day early to visit his parents.
Parade wanted nothing more to turn around and drive back to Bathurst to experience the snow.
But he had no chance, considering he was off to Adelaide the following day to see Liverpool Football Club at Adelaide Oval.
On the topic of football …
Parade was over the moon to travel to Sydney last weekend to see his beloved Liverpool Football Club play in front of over 72,000 fans at ANZ Stadium.
Nothing beats belting out the lyrics to You’ll Never Walk Alone for the fourth time, alongside Parade’s mates and other Liverpool fans.
But how good was the pre- and post-game coverage (sarcasm).
At least the coverage was worth it for the memes.
And speaking of coverage, what was your favourite possession?
Origin time
Keeping with the theme of sport, the biggest sporting event is almost upon us – State of Origin.
Come Wednesday, the mighty New South Wales Blues will go head-to-head with the Queensland Maroons.
One thing that always frustrates Parade during the Origin period is the amount of NSW-born Queensland supporters that come out of their hole.
Where’s the sense of loyalty and support?
While NSW may have struggled over the past decade, Parade has never walked away from supporting the Blues.
You can choose your NRL team, but you can’t choose where you were born.
