Bathurst police were called to the office on Russell Street about 4.40pm on Tuesday where they quickly contained the scene.
The man was arrested and taken to Bathurst police station without further incident.
He will appear in court at a later date.
Woman arrested with stolen groceries
A 36-YEAR-OLD woman has been arrested and charged with various offences.
Police stopped a vehicle on Boyd Street Kelso about 9.20pm on Tuesday and checks revealed the female driver had been disqualified from driving for three years.
Officers seized a large amount of groceries believed to have been stolen from a number of supermarkets in Orange.
The woman will appear in Bathurst Local Court at a later date.
