A Holden Astra crashed into a house on the corner of Lambert and Peel Streets on Tuesday morning, with no one sustaining any serious injuries.

“A vehicle came off the road and collided into a house,” Chifley Local Area Command Sergeant Paul McCann said.
“The driver of the vehicle was a female in her mid thirties. She was taken to Bathurst Hospital for treatment but she had no serious injuries.
“An elderly lady was in the house, but no one in the house was injured.
“The cause of the incident will be investigated.”
Fire and Rescue NSW and Jemena, a gas authority, were called to the scene of the incident, alongside the police.
One witness, who was working on the corner on the other side of intersection, saw the incident unfold.
“The car was on the wrong side and went straight through [the intersection]. They didn’t stop [at the stop sign],” he said.
The car was removed from the crash scene.
