Which is probably why this release caught the eye of Parade, who is known to enjoy the odd pizza or two.
Domino’s stores have introduced a cool change to the pizza scene with the introduction of thickshakes to its menu, which are also available for home delivery!
Parade got to thinking about the logistics of delivering a thickshake without it melting on the way (in summer at least), and apparently the company has addressed the issue.
Because they are cooled at -14 degrees, and made using real ice cream, not soft serve, customers will receive a nice cold drink that stays cool during delivery.
Domino’s stores said they are expecting to reap the benefits of the new menu item as the company aims to target 10 percent of the $700 million thickshakes and smoothies market.
That’s a lot of thickshakes being sold!
Get your footy tips in
A friend of Parade isn’t much of a football fan, but entered the work footy tipping competition anyway, with her husband (who is a massive fan) choosing the teams.
It started off well enough, until parade forgot to enter his tips for a couple of weeks, and frankly thought nothing more of it.
However it appears this year is his season, and he’s been picking perfect rounds each week, and is getting pretty excited about where he sits on the ladder.
He keeps asking how he’s going in the comp, which would probably be first had she entered the tips, but Parade is thinking more likely last, as she didn’t get past round two.
She might have some explaining to do at the end of the season, when the results are posted for all to see.
Countdown to State of Origin
And speaking of football, Parade, who actually enjoys watching most sports, can’t wait for the next State of Origin match, hoping the Blues continue their winning form.
