In their third carnival as a team Pat’s went through the day undefeated with wins over Orange, Oberon, Cowra and Bathurst Panthers.
“I’m stoked for them because it’s their first year of playing league tag. The majority of the team play in other sports, like netball,” co-coach John O’Shea said.
“They’ve been to two carnivals before this one and had only won two of their five matches over those.
“I’m really proud of the girls because they’ve gelled together so well and always try their hardest.”
O’Shea and Anthony Gibbs co-coach the team on gala day, while Karah Armstrong prepares the squad on weekdays.
“She’s put a lot of work in getting this team together and we’re really grateful for her efforts,” O’Shea said.
