The Barry Lew-trained gelding takes on the GC32 Yearling Payment Due 30 June NSW State Bred Pace (1,730 metres) after tough outings at the Group 3 Simpson Memorial (10th) and Canberra Derby (seventh).
The memorial race can be considered misleading in the form guide after the Mach Three gelding was checked and locked wheels.
Considering his strong race history – which includes a runner-up finish at Group 3 level – Karloo Threeothree is expected to start a heavy favourite on Wednesday night.
In his five starts at Bathurst Karloo Threeothree has never missed a placing.
Mat Rue has been in the drivers seat for all but two of Karloo Threeothree’s starts, and he’s on board for Wednesday’s race.
Wednesday night’s eight race meeting begins from 5pm sharp.
