A BATHURST driver has lost his licence for six months after being caught speeding on the Goolma Road, near Wellington.

Officer attached to Orana Highway Patrol clocked the driver at 155km/h in a 100km/h zone about 6.50am on Wednesday.
Police saw the vehicle overtaking another vehicle and doing well above the 100km/h speed limit as it travelled east.
A Liday check clocked the vehicle accelerating up to 155km/h.
A short time later the male driver, a Class C licence holder from Bathurst, was stopped and issued an infringement for driving at more than 45km/h over the speed limit.
He was fined $2350 and had his driver’s licence suspended for six months.
