It’s time, once again, to embrace the magic of the Bathurst Winter Festival – it's guaranteed to delight and ignite every imagination.
The two-week celebration begins with Ignite the Night on Saturday, July 1, from 5pm to 9pm, where several buildings in Bathurst’s city centre will be illuminated.
Watch buildings come alive through static and interactive illuminations, breathing life into the historic architecture. Amuse yourself in the Winter Playground on Russell Street, with the outdoor McDonald’s Bathurst Ice Rink, the giant ferris wheel and the two-storey carousel from Italy.
Ignite the Night will feature Edible Alley, with delicious foods and beverages, a variety of performances on the ice, children’s shows, all-new illuminations, an interactive children’s comedy show and great live music.

YJAM youth performances will also feature, and an enchanted forest with a fairy garden will captivate Machattie Park.
Enjoy the twilight markets and the wine and craft beers at Brew and Bite on July 8. Indulge your palate with gourmet food trucks and stop by the Whiskey and Gin Bar or have a warm winter treat from the Mulled Wine Bar. Don’t forget to visit Spoon Full of Sugar in Machattie Park for dessert.
Bop away at the Silent Disco or rock the night away with Junk Yard Beats.
The ice rink, carousel and ferris wheel will operate from July 1 to 16, from 9am to 8pm on Monday to Thursday and 9am to 9pm on Friday to Sunday.
