A 66-YEAR-OLD Bathurst region man has appeared in Dubbo Local Court after being caught driving while disqualified near Wellington.

Officers attached to Orana Highway Patrol stopped the man while conducting routine patrols about 3pm on Monday.
Police spoke with the driver who told them he had left his driver’s licence back in his room.
However, police checks quickly revealed the man was actually disqualified from driving until 2102 – 85 years from now.
He was arrested and taken to Wellington police station and charged with driving while disqualified and an outstanding warrant.
He was bail refused to face Dubbo Local Court on Tuesday morning.
