IT may have been a tough start to its tour of the United Kingdom, but the Ryan Peacock skippered NSW Combined High Schools side is now on a roll.
After opening their account against Yorkshire, the Bathurst all-rounder and his team-mates posted back-to-back wins against Lincolnshire Development XI.
The second of those matches, a one-dayer played at Sleaford Cricket Club, saw Peacock once more show aggressive intent with the bat.
Coming in at number three, he hit 20 runs off as many balls with his knock including four boundaries.
When he departed it was 2-85 and from there, NSW CHS went on to reach 9-241.
While the hosts lost early wickets in the chase, their runs came in quick time as they were 5-83 after 17 overs.
But when Peacock took a catch off the bowling of team-mate Creedence King to dismiss Lincolnshire’s number four for 52, it was a telling blow.
The hosts went down fighting as they were all out 18 runs shy of victory on the first ball over the 45th over.
