Out of the Dark is for women who have experienced family violence (including emotional, sexual, social, religious, physical or financial abuse) run the Bathurst Family Violence Awareness Group.

Topics include the types of family violence; myths and facts about family violence; power and control in abusive relationships; the cycle of violence; AVOs and safety planning; recognising healthy relationships; the impacts of family violence on children; and finding help.
