It has been three years since the circus last visited Bathurst and it is back with new owners, new acts and an extreme theme to wow the crowds.
Circus spokeswoman Leanne Linden said the troupe of 30 performers have come from across the globe to entertain.
From the moment the show kicks off, she said it will be action-packed and full of tricks and feats to amuse the whole family.
“We’ll have flair rider trail bikes ride into the big top,” Ms Linden said of the beginning of the show.
The Metal Globe will feature in every performance – at first one flair rider will ride around inside the huge globe, followed by another and another.
“In the end there’s four riders in there, they have to be extremely precise,” Ms Linden said.
Aerial acts will feature with performers using silks and the trapeze to fly around the big top.
“There’s also a high-wire troupe,” Ms Linden said.
“The Russian trampolining group is always popular.”
Ms Linden said the Wheel of Death was always a crowd-pleaser with performers walking sky-high inside and outside the spinning wheel while they perform tricks.
Miniature ponies are the only animals that perform in the circus.
It’s very family friendly, and no matter what age every act will leave you on the edge of your seat for a different reason.
