The circus set up at Bathurst Showgrounds on Thursday, and during their two-week stay will hold 12 performances.
It has been three years since it last visited the city, and this time it has new owners, new acts and a troupe of 30 performers.
Circus spokeswoman Leanne Linden said the family-friendly show has attracted large numbers of people.
“We’ve been close to full every night. There’s roughly 500 [people] a show,” she said.
“The feedback we’ve been getting is amazing.”
The circus’ extreme theme has been a winner with the audience, Ms Linden said, and every performance includes flair riders, the wheel of death, the trapeze and a giant swing that tosses acrobats sky-high.
The Metal Globe also features during the show, with multiple flair riders tasked to ride around at speed inside the huge globe as the narrowly miss each other.
“In the end there’s four riders in there, they have to be extremely precise,” Ms Linden said.
The circus runs from Wednesday to Sunday this week and tickets are available at the big top circus ticket booth or by calling 1300 667 269.
