Mr Burrows, 58, was killed in an explosion as he approached the rear garage of his mother’s property in a laneway behind Villiers Street, Portland, about 6.30am on Friday, July 24, 2015.
Bathurst police investigating the death say an improvised explosive device (IED) was detonated remotely with a radio controlled receiver.
The new video, released on Monday to mark the two-year anniversary of Mr Burrows’ death, includes drone footage both inside the garage and around the local area.
It also features Chifley local area command crime manager Detective Chief Inspector Luke Rankin providing an update on the investigation, including a breakthrough regarding the remotely-detonated IED.
Strike Force detectives are confident there are people in the community who have information but, for whatever reason, have been reluctant to come forward.
“Someone must know something about these devices so I urge you to pick up the phone and call us – you can do this anonymously through Crime Stoppers,” Detective Chief Inspector Rankin said.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page.
Information you provide will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
