She, like many others, grew up using the program for a variety of different projects.
It started out with scribbling lines over a blank canvas and filling in the gaps with the paint bucket tool, creating a very odd looking mosaic.
The spray can tool was also used quite a lot.
As she grew up, Paint became more of a photo editing tool, where Parade would often crop photos, make collages, resize photos and change file formats with its help.
If the online reaction is anything to go by, many people share Parade's feelings on the loss of Paint.
There have been a few occasions where public opinion has reversed a decision.
Parade certainly hopes this can be another one of those instances.
A surprise visitor of the furry kind
THE cold air must have been getting to the animals Monday night.
Parade’s arrival home was delayed, so the garage door had been left open far longer than usual.
Her significant other thought he had heard the car pull up in the garage, but when he went to check there was something much smaller inside.
A cat that he had never seen before had taken refuge in the garage and wasn’t too happy about the human intrusion.
The cat quickly scurried away before it could be checked for a collar and returned to the correct owner.
Parade is just thankful it was found before she arrived home, because the ending to this story could have been very different.
Attention to all details
PARADE has learnt that there is a lot more to development than meets the eye.
After speaking with a developer recently, she discovered that they put a lot of effort into making their building look amazing.
However, one of the unexpected things that got a lot of his attention was the style of the numbers that mark the building’s address.
Every detail matters.
