Exercise offers many potential benefits, from decreasing the risk of heart disease to improving your sleeping pattern.
If you’re prone to tossing and turning at night, exercise is one natural way to fix that.
By strengthening circadian rhythms, exercising can help you be more bright-eyed during the day giving you the energy you require to get through your busy work load while also promoting a great night’s sleep.
We all have those moments when we can’t remember if we turned the iron off, fed the dog or locked the front door but what if I could tell you that exercise could help you with that too. Crazy, right?
Aerobic exercises such as running, boosts the size of hippocampus, the part of the brain responsible for memory and learning. So apart from brain food to boost your memory and mental skills, start breaking a sweat!
So there you have it.
We’ve only just begun to scratch the surface on the many ways regular exercise can have a positive impact on our lives and remember it’s never too late to begin.
A few quick tips to remember when training:
Always have a water bottle with you because your body requires constant hydration.
Don’t forget to stretch after every session, it’s just as important as the workout itself.
