Voting opened on Monday in the two people’s choice categories: employee of the year and favourite business.
Votes can be lodged at the Carillon Business Awards website, but only one vote will be accepted for each IP address, according to Bathurst Business Chamber president Stacey Whittaker.
“People without access to technology can come to Gunthers Lane in Russell Street, where they have set up devices where people can vote,” she said.
People’s choice voting closes on September 1 and the finalists for employee of the year and favourite business will be announced at the awards’ finalists’ night on September 19.
Also announced on the night will be the finalists for the other categories in the awards. Those categories are judged by external judges who do not have an affiliation with the Bathurst Business Chamber.
All businesses that entered the awards are encouraged to attend the finalists’ night.
“It will be a free night, with food provided, but you will buy your own drinks,” Ms Whittaker said.
Those attending are asked to get tickets for the finalists’ night for catering purposes. Tickets are available from the Carillon Business Awards website.
