Space Rocks is at the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum. Space Rocks is an exhibition of meteorites and astrophotography from the Bathurst Observatory and includes spectacular images taken by Ray Pickard. The exhibition will run until December 1. Ross Pogson will provide a talk on the Molong Pallasite Meteorite, a visitor from outer space, at 5.30pm on Tuesday, August 22. Bookings are required. Children’s Book Week. There will be special storytime sessions at Bathurst Library from Wednesday, August 23-25 with a colouring competition and prizes. Best of all, the children will see and meet The Gruffalo. Visit www.bathurst.nsw.gov.au/community/library.
Warm by the glow of local creativity at Arts OutWest's very popular Winter Arts Networking Nights. After the great success of the Bathurst night, now it's time for Lithgow and Orange.
The Lithgow event will be held from 5pm-7pm on Wednesday, August 23 at Eskbank House Museum.
The Orange event will be held from 5pm-7pm on Wednesday, August 30 at Union Bank, Byng Street
