It covers international and national stories and gives in-depth focus on the main issues.
The program gives a wider view of the stories that have made the headlines from the past week.
Tune in Fridays from 1pm to 1.30pm for On The Line on 93.2FM 2MCE.
Take a stand
IT’S still a fair way off, but the 2MCE Subscribers AGM will be held in November and members should consider standing for one of the two board positions that will become vacant at that time.
The two elected representatives serve a minimum two-year term on the board and can assist in formulating the station’s direction.
This is a chance to contribute and be heard as the station heads into the future.
You simply need to nominate at least a week prior to the meeting, which will be held on November 21.
Nomination forms will be available from the 2MCE office a month prior to the AGM.
Of course, you need to be a current financial member of 2MCE to nominate for the board.
Meet in the cafe
FOR our younger audience, don’t forget Beat Cafe each weekday in the 4pm to 6pm drive slot with student and younger programmers and a wide range of music and chat.
Michael Gould covers Mondays with a wide variety of modern tracks ranging from heavy metal to new releases and pop. Katreena and Kayla bring you Tuesday country tunes, a mix of current country trends involving the newer sounds of crossover country.
Zak Caban hosts Wednesday with plenty of topics and sport information among a mix of current, 90s and 80s classics.
Rob and Lachlan provide a few laughs and a good music mix each Thursday.
On Friday, meanwhile, there is plenty of wit and mayhem as Adam and Caleb bring you The People’s Smoko with interviews and an occasional quiz.
Check all this out weekdays between 4pm and 6pm on 2MCE.
