The event was held last year at the store and raised over $5000 for the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.
The cause is very close to store owner Ann Bantoft’s heart, as her son Brad is living with the disease.
He is continuing to have chemotherapy, but due to the location of his tumour, is unable to have any more operations to remove it.
“We are all very aware there is nothing we can do for Brad now, but we don’t want any other families to have to go through this,” Ms Bantoft said.
The Dungeons and Dragons marathon will be held at the George Street store on Saturday.
There will be three sessions, each lasting about three hours, played throughout the day.
The sessions will start at 10am, 2pm and 6pm.
Entry is a gold coin donation and Cure Brain Cancer Foundation merchandise will also be on sale.
Ms Bantoft’s hope is to have more people participate than last year’s event, which had 102 attendees.
“We regularly have 30 to 40 people playing on Wednesday’s. If everybody brought a family member or a friend we should come close,” she said.
