On the program again is the Saturday Street Fair, held in the centre of town.
Each year, Bathurst Regional Council aims to provide something for everyone.
The usual street food and market stalls will be on offer at this year’s festival, as will entertainment from local musicians.
However, to celebrate the release of the third installment of Disney-Pixar’s Cars franchise, council has added a Cars themed section to the event.
Younger fans will be able to see the new-look Lightning McQueen and take photos with Mack the Transporter.
The street fair will be held on October 7 from 10am to 4pm.
