Bathurst Highway Patrol officers stopped a Holden utility about 11pm in Alamein Walk.
The driver was breath tested and during a subsequent search of the vehicle and driver police found about 180 MDMA tablets.
The 21-year-old driver was arrested and charged with supplying a greater than indictable quantity of a prohibited drug and possession of a prohibited drug.
He was granted conditional bail and will appear before Bathurst Local Court in October.
