Popularly-elected mayor: No
Water sale: This is a very contentious issue but water security for residents and industry both industrial and agriculture is of the utmost importance. However, I believe all proposals for developments that will bring employment to the region need to be considered on their merits.
Roundabout: Yes, but I would like to see all reports relating to safety at this intersection to ensure its design is adequate.
Australia Day: It must stay on 26 January. However we need to ensure it becomes more inclusive of our first people.
TAFE building: I favour it being part of a cultural precinct. But precisely what? I would need to review and consider all information and reports on Council files.
Rates cap: This question is too broad
Christmas decorations: Yes but business should contribute
CCTV: Yes but what is a “full” rollout
Demolition by neglect: We need to work with property owners to develop a sense of pride in our City. Heritage must be retained where possible.
Attendance: 4 full Council meetings plus 10 meetings of committees of which I am a member (Roads and Traffic Committee and Rail Action)
