The three presenters were articulate and had a well-prepared presentation. Unfortunately, they were not given a fair chance to explain to many of us who were interested to learn more about the proposal.
The interjections while the presenters were talking were rude and unnecessary.
There was to be time for questions after the presentation where concerns could be raised. Sadly, this did not eventuate due to the poor behaviour of the interjectors.
The whole night turned into a NIMBY occasion from residents from the Brewongle area.
A solar farm is not going to have any negative agricultural impact on neighbouring farms.
Solar panels are far more attractive than open cut coal mines and waste heaps.
My family owns a very profitable solar-run grazing property in the Central West and can only encourage more farmers to take advantage of our abundant sunshine.
I sincerely hope the presenters do not judge Bathurst by the poor social skills of the interjectors. I also wish Photon and the farmer who owns the land all the best in their proposed plans.
