Throughout Thursday, students organised a car wash and a fete, packed birthing kits for Operation Christmas Child and spent the afternoon playing sport with teachers.
Year 12 student Eve Currie said the birthing kits was an initiative by the Bathurst High leadership team.
“It was an initiative made by the leadership earlier this year,” she said.
“Respect is one of our core values and we want to respect others with the privileges we have.
“We want to, as year 12 students, give back to the world.”
Two-hundred boxes were packed, with each box costing $3 thanks to $600 raised at fundraisers.
Boxes were packed with a plastic mat, string, razor blade, soap, gauzes and gloves.
For the fete, student Kimberley Campbell organised a photo booth, face painting and a footy toss competition.
