From Broadway To Ballroom stars seasoned opera performers Liza Beamish and Lachlan Baker and ballroom dancing champions Emma and Rhett Salmon.
Rhett and Emma were the winners of the 2015 World Dance Council Championship in Sydney in the professional ballroom category.
They were placed second in the National Championship held at the Gold Coast that year, and were finalists in the Canberra National Championships.
In 2014, they were finalists in the Asia Pacific Competition in Hong Kong.
The son of well-known ballroom dancing parents, Rhett started ballroom dancing when he was only eight years old.
Emma’s passion for dance has taken her all around the world, including Disneyland Hong Kong. She holds teacher certificates for all styles of dance (ballet, jazz, tap, theatrical) and has an advanced diploma in musical theatre.
After studying opera in London, Vienna and Sydney, Liza Beamish’s stratospheric top notes have placed her much in demand throughout her career for the specialist role of Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Magic Flute.
She toured England in this role for a year, and went on to perform it at the Sydney Opera House and for Opera Queensland.
As a soloist, Lachlan Baker has headlined in corporate events around the world, including Germany, the USA, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan and China.
He performed at the opening of the Australian Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo, and his enormous popularity as a corporate singer has led him to perform in every state and territory of Australia, and in places as diverse as the Sydney Opera House and Ayers Rock.
From Broadway To Ballroom is a beautiful show in which Liza, Lachlan, Emma and Rhett deliver an unforgettable and vibrant performance, captivating audiences young and old with their beautiful voices and spectacular dance routines.
