A new car, a holiday and even the family home can call for an awful lot of savings until we reach our goal, but the Western Advocate is keen to help you out.
This week, a brand, spanking new Kia Picanto will be given away to one lucky shopper.
And, it is not too hard to win, even if Parade does say so herself.
All you need to do is shop at a participating Bathurst City Centre retailer to be in with a chance.
The car is currently on display in the centre and the winner will be drawn on Friday, September 29.

Hot in the city, as mercury rises
PARADE is a lover of all things summer – big blue skies, long days and more time outdoors.
So, as the mercury rose and rose on Saturday to a record high, Parade could not have been happier.
The temperature was predicted to reach 30 and it did not disappoint, reaching a top of 31.
Summer may still be a long way off, and Parade is well aware that this is not the end of the city’s cold days, but she is thankful for this early taste of hot weather.
Blue, green alert for Chifley Dam
FOR those who love a visit to Chifley Dam, there is currently a green alert for blue green algae in force.
Bathurst Regional Council announced the alert earlier this month, and its website states: “The dam remains open for all water related recreational activities”.
“Blue-green algae are first detected in the water at low amounts, possibly signalling the early stages of the development of a bloom,” it states.
“At these concentrations, the blue-green algae do not pose a threat to recreational, stock or domestic use.”
Meanwhile, the dam’s capacity currently sits at 90 per cent with more than 27,000ML in storage.
Consumption of filtered water in Bathurst averages 16.3ML per day (equivalent of 6.5 Olympic swimming pools).
