As a member of the state representative side, all-rounder Griffith will compete in the Women’s National Cricket League.
It will mark her first games for the Breakers since playing South Australia in January 2011.
“Having taken some time off from the game, the pace-bowler has returned full of vigour, grit and determination,” Cricket NSW said of the Bathurst talent.
Griffith joins the likes of Alex Blackwell, Ellyse Perry and Alyssa Healy in the squad of 13, who will began their latest campaign with two games on the opening weekend.
The Breakers – who are the defending champions - met Queensland Fire on Friday and Victoria on Sunday.
Coach Joanne Broadbent said she is: “expecting to see some really competitive cricket, where we are tested and testing our opponents.”
