Two writing workshops with author Kim Kelly are coming up at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre. Both will be held from 10am to 3pm, with a tea break and short lunch break. Holy Trinity Church Spring Fair will be held at the Parish and Community Centre at 81 Gilmour Street, Kelso from 9am-1pm. There will be plenty of parking. On offer will be cakes, slices, jams, preserves, a barbecue, light refreshments and brewed coffee. A chocolate wheel will operate throughout the morning and the raffle will be drawn at 1pm.

Participants for the biannual bus to the Chatswood Skin Cancer Clinic are urged to book in to reserve their seat. The one-day trip to Sydney is scheduled for Wednesday, October 25, with the bus departing from the rear of McDonald's Bathurst at 6.30am. Bookings can be made through Marietta's at 233 George Street or by calling 6331 1078.
