A woman is due to face court after allegedly running down her partner in her car in a deliberate attack.

Police said the woman, 46, was driving in Inverell in the state's Northern Tablelands on Wednesday afternoon, when she saw her partner walking down the street.
It will be alleged in court the woman drove her Ford Falcon sedan at the 39-year-old man, throwing him on to the bonnet and knocking him to the ground.
The woman then allegedly put the car into reverse and attempted to back the car towards him.
The man was allegedly forced to jump out of the way to avoid being struck again.
It will be further alleged in court that the woman got out of the car and started to assault the man.
The man suffered cuts and abrasions.
Police from New England Local Area Command were called and arrested the woman.
The woman, from Inverell, was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and driving furiously in a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.
She was refused bail and is due to appear before Inverell Local Court on Thursday.
