Trevor-Jones has given up wicket-keeping this season to concentrate on his batting and after making a century in round two, impressed once more on Saturday.
Playing at Pratten Park against Western Suburbs, Trevor-Jones showed his ability to occupy the crease in tough batting conditions as he made 48 off 149 deliveries before he was trapped leg before wicket.
He still put away the bad balls, as evidenced by six boundaries in his close to three-hour stint after Sydney Uni won the toss and elected to bat in the two-day contest.
Alongside skipper Nick Larkin (53), a man with state experience, Trevor-Jones helped put on 100 runs for the opening wicket.
Uni went on to reach 8-257 declared and in the seven overs before stumps, Wests made 18 runs without loss.
