Bathurst artists are reaping the rewards this month after artist Rachel Ellis was announced the winner of the $20,000 annual NSW Parliament Plein Air Painting Prize; artist Nic Mason scored a NAVA Artists’ Grant to support her residency in France next month; and three theatre makers Jesse Alston, Johannah Williams and Ben Rodwell have each received $10,000 Create NSW Young Regional Artist Scholarships.

All performers leap

On Stage in Keppel Street
One of the world’s favourite concertos, the Mozart Clarinet concerto, will be performed by Sandra Ismail, the winner of the Camplin Prize in the inaugural Macquarie Philharmonia Concerto competition this Sunday October 22 at 2pm at The Carrington in Keppel Street.
This month’s National Theatre Live screening, Sunday 2pm at BMEC, is Yerma, starring Billie Piper.
