National Cool Climate Wine Show public tasting will be held at the Bathurst Showground from 6pm-9pm. Members of the community are invited to enjoy the wines of Australia's premier cool climate wine show. Cost: $40. Visit www.coolwines.com.au.
Saturday, October 21
National Cool Climate Wine and Food Festival will be held at Mayfield Garden from 11am-4.30pm. Cost: adults $65, annual pass holder $55, concession/student $50, children (seven to 17 years) $35, kids under six free. Transfers will be available from Oberon, Bathurst, Orange and Katoomba at an additional cost.
The Holy Trinity Church Spring Fair will be held at the Parish and Community Centre at 81 Gilmour Street from 9am-1pm. There will be lots of stalls, food and drink, a raffle and plenty of parking.
Sunday, October 22
A number of the villagers will be throwing open their homes and their gardens for the Hill End Open Day. As well, the Royal Hall, court house, school, churches and studios will be open. Speak to the people who have the determination to take on the task of keeping these buildings alive. They are proud of their village, so come along and talk to them in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
