Chairperson Linda Clemens said the volunteer organising committee was hoping that the past participants, carers and volunteers would go along to help launch the event.
The committee will be there from 8am with balloons, cupcakes and early bird registration forms ($15), and will be available to answer any questions.
Mayor Graeme Hanger will officially kick off the 2018 event and last year’s battle of the bands winners, Crimson Royale, will be performing at the launch.
The event will be supported by the Country Women’s Association, who will be baking purple and yellow cupcakes.
The 2018 Relay For Life will be at All Saints’ College on March 10-11. The 2017 relay raised more than $105,000 and organisers will be setting their sights even higher in 2018.
