Defending champions Weston Creek went down by eight wickets as rival openers Ethan Bartlett (74 off 34) and Matthew Condon (65 off 36) starred in the chase. The required total of 197 was reached with 16 balls to spare.
Earlier on the Deans, who played for Rugby Union Cricket Club while based in Bathurst, opened the batting for Weston Creek when their side was sent in after losing the toss.
Blake’s stay at the crease was brief, hitting a boundary and a single from the three balls he faced before being caught out.
Jono then joined skipper John Rodgers (72) in a fight back as they added 29 in quick time for the second wicket. He made 27 off 22 deliveries, the highlight of his knock a pair of sixes.
