Queen – The Magic Tour aims to reproduce the monumental Queen concert at London’s Wembley Stadium in 1986, which was part of the supergroup’s last tour.
The show features Thomas Crane, who has been described as arguably the best Freddie Mercury in Australia.
Crane, who puts a lot of effort into looking and sounding like Mercury, can also sing opera and play the piano, so he offers a number of talents.
Queen – The Magic Tour sets out to capture the posturing, preening, strutting and showmanship of Mercury and the flamboyance, theatrics and energy of the band.
Crane says “everything is here, right down to the trademark cheeky banter and singing contests between Freddie and his audience”.
The show will feature hits including We Will Rock You, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, We Are The Champions, Radio Ga Ga, A Kind of Magic, I Want To Break Free, Another One Bites the Dust and, of course, Bohemian Rhapsody.
Queen - The Magic Tour will perform at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre on Friday, November 10 at 8pm.
