“I went okay, it was nothing brilliant,” he said.
“I just played steady. I just played pretty consistent.
“I didn’t break up any double bogeys.”
I just played really consistently.

Bourke said he went up against plenty of good golfers, with scratch makers.
“My handicap has blown out a little bit but I had one good round. I shot even par the second round, so that was good,” he said.
“I haven’t hit even bar for a couple of months.”
After qualifying for the NSW Senior Open, Bourke said the result is “up there” for one of his career highlights.
“I qualified for the Champions of Champions a few times, when I played a lot,” he said.
“It’s pretty good [to qualify for the NSW Senior Open].”
Bourke is also a past champion of the Bathurst Golf Club.
