There will be musical theatre, opera and dance when From Broadway To Ballroom is performed at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre at 11am and 7.30pm. The show features seasoned opera performers Liza Beamish and Lachlan Baker accompanied by the 2015 World Dance Council champions Emma and Rhett Salmon.

Saturday, October 28
The annual Bathurst Gardeners’ Club Spring Spectacular will be held on Saturday and Sunday. There will be nine gardens open, including town and rural gardens. Tickets for the Spring Spectacular are $20 and will be available from all the gardens and the Bathurst Visitor Information Centre.
The Miss Traill’s House Garden Market will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am to 3.30pm as part of the Spring Spectacular. There will be free entry to the garden market, which will include a Bathurst Gardeners’ Club giant plant stall, many garden-related stalls, morning and afternoon teas, barbecue lunches of steak or sausage sandwiches or chicken kebabs and live music between 11am and 2pm. There will also be a special entry price of $5 to the Miss Traill’s House Museum (last tour at 3pm).

Macquarie Care Centre Auxiliary will hold its Melbourne Cup Luncheon at the Holy Trinity Church Hall, Kelso on Tuesday, November 7 from 11.30am. There will be musical entertainment, lucky door prizes and a fashion parade by Belle Chemise showing the coming season's fashions.
